COVID-19 Update

Important Conference Announcement Regarding COVID-19 Concerns

We look forward to welcoming you and your staff to the 2020 Learning & Training Conference taking place September 22-23, 2020 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Learning & Training Conference consists of two concurrent conferences; The Online Learning Conference and The Learning & Development Conference.

The health and wellness of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and show partners is our top priority and will monitor this situation on a regular basis. At present, we do not foresee any impacts to our current conference date and are proceeding as planned; however, as a precaution, we’ve added additional protocols to ensure that all conference participants enjoy a worry-free event.

Please be assured that we are monitoring this situation very closely. Should there be any changes to the current status of this health emergency, the conference will take into account any recommendations from relevant federal, provincial and municipal authorities and implement all appropriate instructions. The conference organizers are following the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as well as Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Theresa Tam (@CPHO_Canada on Twitter).

Risk-free Registration: We have relaxed our standard cancellation clause. If sickness prevents you from traveling or attending, we will waive the usual cancellation administration fee and offer a full credit for next year’s event. We have also waived all substitution fees and will allow a replacement attendee to take your place right up until the event. Please contact bradm@mediaedge.ca if you have any questions or if you need to discuss your registration in more detail.

Attendee Precautions: If you have any flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) within two weeks prior to the event, if you have visited a high-risk area, or have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within 60 days of the conference, we kindly ask that you stay home – we'll see you next time!
